DEFINITION |
Solvent based, silicon added impregnating material. |

CHARACTERISTICS |
Mineral based, colourless and waterproof impregnating material, which ensures water repelling capacity without the formation of a film. High penetrating capacity, breathing activity. Used for water impermeability and resistance to weather conditions. |

APPLICATION AREAS |
Used as an efficient and resistant waterproof impregnating material on surfaces with high alkali content or large pores, such as concrete, gypsum plaster, aerated concrete, calcium silicate brick, and natural or cast stone.

APPLICATION METHOD |
COSMOS IMPREGNATE should be applied in two layers, without thinning, by means of a brush or roll, well working into the surface. The first layer should be spread very quickly and before it dries, the second layer should be applied. On wide surfaces, it can be applied by widespread spraying so that the paint flows down the wall. The amount of the impregnating material to be applied on the wall should be 0,100-1,000 lt/m2, depending on the structure surface.

DURATION OF DRYING |
Between the layers, one hour can be given, depending on the absorptive characteristics of the surface.

CARE AND SAFETY MEASURES |
Can be stored for six months on condition that it is kept away from the sunlight. It should be stored in a cool place. As it can be affected by the moist in the air, the packages should be kept very tightly closed. It is inflammable and health hazardous. Its flash point is above 10°C. When applied in unventilated mediums, necessary precautions should be taken.A ventilating mask should be used. (R22) Harmful for health when ingested. (S2) Keep away from the reach of children. (S7) Keep in a tightly closed container. (S24/S25) Avoid contact with eyes and skin. |
